We begin our journey to Cradle Mountain with a stop at the Visitor Centre for a brief pause before entering the park. Upon arrival at Dove Lake, we set out on a scenic walk to the iconic Boatshed, a charming wooden structure nestled along the lake’s shores. Stroll along well-marked trails, taking in the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding wilderness.

The Boatshed provides an idyllic backdrop for memorable photos and moments of tranquility. After our walk, we visit the Devils at Cradle sanctuary, where you’ll have the rare opportunity to see Tasmania’s most iconic yet endangered species, the Tasmanian Devil. Learn about their conservation efforts and observe their playful behavior up close.

Next, we’ll explore the Rainforest Circuit, a short 15-minute walk offering insight into the lush rainforest and views of Tasmanian waterfalls. Before returning to Devonport, we’ll make a stop at the Wilderness Gallery and its souvenir shop.

Entrance fees for Cradle Mountain Park and the Devils at Cradle sanctuary are included in the tour. Refreshments are available at the Tavern and Cradle Mountain Cafe.
