Our adventure begins promptly at 10:00 AM. However, if everyone is ready earlier, we'll set off sooner. This excursion is tailored specifically for cruise passengers seeking an opportunity to visit Cradle Mountain and encounter a Tasmanian Devil. We keep as a small group with a maximum of 20 guests. As a fully accreditated operator with Tasmania National Parks our vehices are allowed to enter the park and you do not need to use the shuttle buses which saves a lot of time and allows us to do more than other tour operators.

The journey to Cradle Mountain takes nearly 90 minutes, leading us to a UNESCO World Heritage-listed wilderness area renowned for its pristine lakes, ancient rainforests, and rugged peaks. Our initial destination is the breathtaking Dove Lake, nestled at the foot of Cradle Mountain.

From Dove Lake, we embark on a scenic walk to the iconic Boatshed, a charming wooden structure nestled along the lake's shores. As we wander along the well-marked trails, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the area. The Boatshed provides an ideal setting for capturing memorable photographs and enjoying a moment of tranquillity amidst the wilderness.

Following our leisurely walk, we proceed with a visit to the Devils at Cradle sanctuary. Here, you'll have the chance to come face-to-face with Tasmania's most iconic yet endangered species, the Tasmanian Devil. Learn about these captivating creatures, their conservation efforts, and witness their playful antics up close. It's a rare opportunity to connect with
Australia's unique wildlife in their natural habitat. 

Next up if time allows is the Rainforest Circuit a 15 minute walk that provides an insight into the rainforest and a view of the many Tasmanian waterfalls. 

A quick stop at the Wilderness Gallery and the attached souvenir shop before we head  back to Burnie, aiming to arrive at approximately 3:30 PM. Please note that times may be adjusted if your cruise ship departs earlier.

This tour is suitable only for those capable of completing a short walk and willing to spend nearly three hours on the bus, navigating twisting roads. We kindly request that you join us promptly, as we may depart earlier and allocate additional time at Cradle Mountain if everyone arrives ahead of schedule. Our meeting point is easily accessible once you disembark
from the shuttle bus that transports you to Burnie. 

Entrance fees are included for both Cradle Mountain Park and the Devils at Cradle.

EACH GUEST WILL ALSO RECEIVE A FREE CRADLE MOUNTAIN BRANDED SOUVENIR:
Choose from a hip flask, glass water bottle, playing cards of Cradle Mountain buff.

REFUNDS:

You are free to cancel any time before 48 hours prior to your booking. We will fully refund any monies paid. Please give us as much notice as possible so that others are able to book your seats once vacant.  Within the 48 hour period we will refund for any medical issue. If your ship fails to dock we will refund 70% of the payment made. We have to do this to share the losses as we have buses all waiting with a full team of drivers. If you do not want to take this risk we suggest do not pre book and buy tickets once you arrive in Burnie. We normally have tickets available.
