Spend a full day discovering the spectacular landscapes of Cradle Mountain on this fully guided tour from Devonport. Departing at 8:30am, you'll travel to the picturesque town of Sheffield, famous for its colourful murals, where you'll join our guided tour arriving from Launceston. From here, the journey continues through the scenic Forth River Gorge, past the historic Hydro town of Gowrie Park, and into the alpine wilderness of the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park.

Throughout the day, your experienced guide will introduce you to the unique plants, wildlife, geology and history of this World Heritage-listed landscape. At Dove Lake, you'll have time to visit the famous Boatshed, walk to Glacier Rock and enjoy breathtaking views of Cradle Mountain. You'll also explore the historic Waldheim Chalet and take a short walk through Weindorfer's Rainforest while learning about Gustav Weindorfer's vision to protect this remarkable wilderness.
